Wabash General Hospital Gives Back to Community During Hospital Week

In Wabash General Hospital’s Strategic Plan, one of our goals is to be the leading force in meeting community needs. While we spent a lot of time celebrating our staff during the month of May to celebrate Hospital Week, we also wanted to give back to our community. This year, we chose to give a donation to the Mt. Carmel Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and The Guardian Center.

The DAR is an organization with a deeply rich history while also being truly relevant in today’s world. More than 1,000,000 women have joined the organization since it was founded over 125 years ago. They became members to honor their heritage as well as make a difference in their communities across the country and the world.

The Guardian Center is a nonprofit children’s advocacy center providing confidential services to children and families affected by sexual and severe physical abuse in Edwards, Crawford, Gallatin, Lawrence, Richland, Saline, Wabash, and White Counties.
