People can encounter health problems at any age, but seniors have unique
needs and issues that affect them. They can face declining physical abilities,
plus mental health concerns as losing loved ones and increased isolation
can lead to depression and anxiety.
At Wabash General Hospital’s Senior Enrichment Center, we know that
sometimes a helping hand is all a senior needs to get their life back
on track. Our multi-disciplinary team includes a doctor, nurse, therapist
and other specialized healthcare professionals who can provide guidance
and support while helping navigate senior health and lifestyle concerns.
We also coordinate each patient’s care with the individual’s
primary care physician.
The Senior Enrichment Center helps seniors cope with the following lifestyle concerns:
An individualized treatment plan is designed for each patient to ensure the best quality care possible. Our program is confidential and offered two to four days per week for a total of six to twelve weeks depending on each patient’s needs. A meal is served at noon on treatment days. We offer individual, group and family therapy, as well as medication management.
Our goal is to help seniors safely return to their optimal style of living through a treatment plan that fosters true healing.
