Injuries and illnesses don’t always happen during business hours. That’s why Wabash General offers convenient care clinic inside our hospital. If you need medical services for non-life-threatening conditions like the flu, insect bites, rashes, urinary tract infections, sore throats, minor cuts, and so on, you can simply walk in for treatment, or you can call in advance for an appointment. Our skilled, compassionate providers are ready to help.
You should go to convenient care for any non-life-threatening urgent medical condition, especially when you can’t or don’t want to wait for an appointment with your primary care provider. However, it’s important to know that convenient care centers are not equipped to handle medical conditions that potentially threaten life and limb. If your medical condition requires immediate medical attention, you should either call 9-1-1 for emergency transportation to the hospital or go to your nearest emergency room. However, if your medical condition cannot wait but isn’t life-threatening, you should seek convenient care, instead.
