WGH Recognized as One of the 464 Hospitals Patients Would Highly Recommend

Wabash General Hospital was honored to receive recognition from Becker’s Hospital Review as one of the 464 hospitals that patients would highly recommend. This prestigious list highlights the commitment to quality care and patient satisfaction at WGH.

Becker's compiled this list using data from the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS), which is managed by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). CMS established ten HCAHPS star ratings, measuring various aspects of patient experiences in healthcare settings. The recommendation star rating synthesizes responses from three key survey questions focused on how effectively physicians communicate, listen attentively, and treat patients with respect.

The evaluation period for these surveys spanned from October 2022 to September 2023, with findings derived from CMS' Provider Data Catalog, officially released on July 31. This achievement reflects WGH's dedication to enhancing patient care standards continually.
