New Location for Wabash General Hospital’s Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Clinic in Lawrenceville
Wabash General Hospital’s Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Clinic is moving to 11362 Country Club Road, Lawrenceville, Illinois, formerly the Lawrence County Health Department’s location. Dr. Julko Fullop, Dr. Karsten Slater, and Beth Fischer, PA-C will start seeing patients at the new site in October 2023. The last clinic date at Lawrence County Memorial Hospital will be September 22, 2023.
President & CEO of Wabash General Hospital, Karissa Turner, stated, “We are very grateful for the continued support of the Lawrence County community to trust us with their care. Our local orthopaedic team brings many years of experience and knowledge to the service area. We look forward to continuing to serve Lawrence County at our new location!” Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon, Dr. Julko Fullop states, “I have enjoyed providing orthopaedic services in Lawrence County since 2016, and our team is looking forward to being able to continue to provide those services in our new location.”
Dr. Fullop is a Mount Carmel native and has been practicing at Wabash General Hospital since 2005. He graduated from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine before completing his residency at the University of Florida Shands Hospital. He is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Karsten Slater graduated from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, then completed his Family Medicine Residency at Deaconess in 2011, before completing his fellowship in Sports Medicine at Southern Illinois University. He is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Beth Fischer, PA-C grew up in Evansville, Indiana, before attending Butler University to complete her undergraduate degree and Physician Assistant studies.
