Delivery of medication though a device that creates a mist. Helps with breathing difficulty.
A procedure that involves a needle being placed into the space between the lungs and the chest wall, known as the pleural space. This allows the physician to remove excess fluid in order to make breathing easier.
Black Lung Clinic
Specialized pulmonary care and rehabilitation for coal miners, along with education on lung disease. Financial assistance is available for all qualifying patients to help with prescriptions, pulmonary health care, diagnostic testing and home oxygen. We provide assistance in applying for Federal black lung benefits in addition to providing Department of Labor physicals.
